A self-adaptive algorithm of the clean numerical simulation (CNS) for chaos
Published in Advances in Applied Mathematics and Mechanics, 2023
This work introduces a novel, self-adaptive algorithm for Clean Numerical Simulation (CNS). By dynamically adjusting time-step sizes and multiple-precision floating-point formats during computation, the algorithm provides a much more efficient strategy for achieving convergent benchmark solutions of chaotic systems over long periods.
